Analytical Testing

Foundation Instruments has spent the last 20 years refining and improving the industry's ability to measure disinfection by-products (DBPs), including Trihalomethanes (THMs), Haloacetic acids (HAAs), and other emerging DBPs.  During that time, we have built extensive lab capabilities to test drinking water samples for various DBPs.

Our lab primarily focuses on supporting utilities during process improvement projects and helping generate timely data to aid in assessing system performance with respect to DBP control. Our lab is not certified, thus cannot be used for regulatory compliance testing, only process monitoring.  Additionally, we can perform most wet chemistry or instrumentation methods used in the drinking water industry, including jar testing, spectrophotometry, titrations, gas and liquid chromatography.
